The E182e is Huawei's first HSPA+ modem supporting 21 MBit/s in downstream and 5.76 MBit/s up, released in 4Q 2009.
Huawei E182E is a highly compact device supporting the complete range of HSPA+/UMTS and GSM/GPRS/EDGE network technologies of only 10mm thick, allowing fast uplink speed rates of up to 5.76Mbps and a downlink of up to 21 Mbps.
An interesting feature, setting the E182E Modem apart from the competition, is the ability to use it as a flash memory. Its built-in MicroSD card slot supports up to 32GB memory card, turning the E182E into a portable storage device for documents, music or movies, eliminating the need for an additional USB memory stick. In addition, the device supports various useful services like SMS/MMS, PC voice, phone book, flow display and statistics.
